Product Description

In an effort to literally grow in the vineyard our Chapter Series of wines, we set aside roughly 7 acres of grapes in our best blocks at the Conner- Lee Vineyard (the vineyard that is largely responsible for our Chapter Wines) and chose to leave only eight clusters per vine closest to the trunk in order to achieve the greatest maturity and polyphenolic development possible. The outside 10 - 12 clusters per vine were subsequently harvested in early September to allow the vine to fully ripen the remaining clusters. These outside clusters are the grapes that we made our Rose from. Yields were incredibly low and only 12 tons were harvested from the 7 acres for our Rose program and even less for the Chapter program.
